Cut base off all figs, slice 3 figs from each package, turn inside out and check
(Note: If there are more than 3 packages/cases from the same company, it is sufficient to check 3 figs from 3 packages/cases), check for webbing when examining seeded section, examine for signs of damage
If an insect is found then all figs must be checked
Dried: May not be used even when bearing kosher certification
