Flour

The yoshon cutoff dates for the following products are as follows:

Robin Hood, Five Roses, Selection & any flour using the following plant codes:

1These numbers or lower are yoshon. Isolate the plant code from the full code that is printed on the bag and then find the year and date codes.

Flour (COR 285) – Conventional flour – BB date of Sept 3/26. Organic: BB Oct 10/26. Whole Wheat flour Conventional: BB date June 3/26, Organic: BB July 10/26.

P&H, Great Plains, Compliments and any flour with a “PH” in the code – The lot # will start with a
5 (for 2025) then xxx for the date then xx for the plant i.e. 5 242 09. Use code 5 268 for plant 02; code 5 242 for plant 09.

Ardent Mills, Robin Hood, Golden Temple or any flour with a COR323 – for plant ‘SK’- a date code of 5-244 or lower. For plant code ‘MT’ – a date code of 5-252 or lower. Durum semolina and Atta flour 5-258 or lower.

No Name Flour – if the BB date includes ‘PFM’ use the code – BB Sept 3/26 for white flour, June 3/26 for whole wheat flour. If it includes ‘PH’ use the codes – BB Sept 25/26 for white flour, June 25/26 for whole wheat flour.

PC Flour – All Purpose flour – any product in the marketplace is yoshon.

Rodelle Flour – code of 25308Y92 or lower (i.e. 25307Y92) is yoshon.

LA Milanese / Boreal flour (conventional & organic)-will remain yoshon until March 2026.

Rogers Foods – White flour BB Oct 23, 2026. Whole wheat, wheat germ and bran BB June 23, 2025.

Spelt flour – in eastern Canada is always yoshon

Oats

Robin Hood, Ardent Mills Oats (COR 323) – code of 5-273 or lower.

Quaker Oats (COR 112) – All products that contain oats – date code of 09 28 P 5 or earlier. 

Quaker Oats Family / Costco Pack – code of 0928 following the Best Before date. 5N5 is the year code; ignore other codes, i.e. 2025 SE 27 0928 5N5 0263. 

Quaker Oats Bran cereal – date code of 10 03 P 5 or earlier

Pearl Milling (Aunt Jemima) Pancake Mixes (all types) – will remain yoshon.

Quaker Bakery mixes that contain only wheat but no oats – are still yoshon, stock up now.

No Name – Large Flake, One Minute and Quick oats – BB 2026 Sept 4 (this date does not apply to single serve packets).

Cereals

General Mills

Cheerios (all types) – BB Sept 22, 2026

Nature Valley Granola bars – BB 16 SE 2026, CO plant only

Selection Oatmeal packets (MK705) – BB Sept 16, 2026

Fibre 1 cereal – always yoshon

Please note: this facility is closing. The items noted above, when bearing a COR123 were produced yoshon. If they bear a different COR # they may not be yoshon. Some of these products are being transferred to a non-kosher certified facility. Double check for the COR symbol.

Ronzoni (Catelli & Lancia) (COR 235) – Regular (white) pasta – BB Oct  5, 2028 or earlier. Whole wheat & Egg BB Oct 5, 2027

Catelli (with an MK) – Use same codes as Grisspasta

Unico – Use same coding as for Primo.

PC/No Name Pasta (COR 1) – use same code as Italpasta

Ferenez /Mama (MK) – will remain yoshon.

Some of the establishments detailed below produce both Yoshon and non-Yoshon products. Kaylim may not be dedicated exclusively for Yoshon products.

Any Sushi that contains wheat is not certified yoshon, even in an “all yoshon” establishment.

Amazing DonutsAll products manufactured on site are yoshon.

Bali Laffa – Pita and Laffa bread only are yoshon.

Bubby’s Bagels -all products are yoshon.

Dr. Laffa Bakery – All baked and packaged products are yoshon (except those containing oats and multigrain).

Ester’s Kosher Bakery – Only products with a special COR yoshon sticker.

Dr. Laffa on the Go (both locations)- Pita and Laffa bread only are yoshon.

Grodzinski Bakery (North)- All products made on site are yoshon except soups, wraps, multigrain and products containing bran and oats.

Grodzinski Bakery (South) – All products made on site are yoshon.

Haymishe Bakery – All baked products are yoshon except those containing oats and bran. Cholent, soups, yerushalmi kugel and pasta are not yoshon.

Hermes – All products made on site are yoshon.

Howie T’s Burger Bar – Buns and burgers only are yoshon

King David Pizza (frozen) – All pizza products are yoshon**

Kosher City Bakery (incl. Randi’s) – only products with COR yoshon sticker

My Zaidy’s Bakery All products made on site are yoshon except organic breads, soups, multigrain and any product containing bran and oats.

Isaac’s KCP Bakery -All products are yoshon.

Olive Branch Bakery – only products with COR yoshon sticker

Pizza CafePizza only is yoshon**

Richmond Kosher Bakery not supervised for yoshon.

Surreal Sweets Bakery & Café (3513 Bathurst) – baked items that come from Surreal Bakery are yoshon. Café items that are manufactured on site are not supervised for yoshon.

Top Slice – Pizza, Falafel & French fries are yoshon**

Tov Li Pizza (both locations) – Regular & Spelt Pizzas, ** pitas, cookies, bourekas, blintzes, pasta, soups, croutons (incl. whole wheat), gravy and barley are yoshon.

**Imitation pepperoni used in Pepperoni Pizza is not yoshon.
