Broiled Whitefish

Broiled Whitefish Title Image

Crusty and delicious.

Rinse the fish with cold water and pat dry.

2 lbs whitefish fillets 3 tbsp light mayonnaise
1 tbsp butter, softened 3 tbsp sliced green onion
Dash hot pepper sauce

Preheat oven to broil.

Place fish in a single layer on a well-oiled baking pan. Combine remaining ingredients and spread evenly on fillets. Broil 6 inches from source of heat for approximately 10 minutes or until top is lightly browned and fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. Watch that the topping doesn’t burn before the fish is done.
